Grapevine Baby Shower

This past weekend I had a wonderful baby shower here in Grapevine hosted by my beautiful friends Laura Northcutt & Kristi Templeton and my beautiful mother, Penny Shilling.  Many family members came, along with friends from many different areas of my life :) Words cannot express my thankfulness for all the gifts and support that have been given to Jake and I in preparation for Alex's arrival. Now that all of the baby showers are over, Jake and I are organizing and getting all of Alex's stuff ready for him. This week I've started washing some of Alex's clothes and his sheets.  I am 35 weeks and am due 5 weeks from today! I go to the doctor for a checkup tomorrow and will now begin to go every week. As I get ready to enter my 9th month next week, I'm taking it easy with lots of rest, staying indoors where it's cool, and drinking lots of water!  It's almost time!
