Life with a Newborn :)

Wow, this last month has flown by! I can't believe how fast Alex is growing. The past four weeks, while challenging, have been wonderful! Alex is an amazing baby and has a pretty calm demeanor. Jake and I have been enjoying getting to know him and his little personality.  Most of Alex's time is spent sleeping or eating but we have noticed that he is having longer periods of alertness. He loves to snuggle on our chests or just lie quietly with his eyes wide open, taking in his surroundings.
