After a one stop Metro ride, and short 10 minute walk, we arrived. It was so neat! Around each corner we found new treasures. Hidden gardens, water features, animals...even a windmill.
The park also had a miniature golf place where we enjoyed a latte and poffertjes (small, powdered sugar covered pancakes..Yum!)
The kids were somewhat impressed but ready to get out of the stroller. We saved the best for last. One whole side of the park contained a small petting zoo, a huge playground for all ages, and a small amusement park. Alex was in heaven! He did not want to leave.
This was hilarious! Alex barely fit in there with Jake.
Chicken nuggets and curry...actually tasty.
Enormous table and chairs
OMGosh what a beautiful and fun place for the kids and Mom & Dad!!!! I talked with the travel agent this morning about touring a few countries while I visit y'all. We are working on the last two weeks of April (most likely will add a few days). Hope you house hunting trip was successful - or NOT. Love you much and love your blog and pix. Miss y'all.
