In search of all things Kid friendly

Today we ventured out in search of playgrounds. We walked through the metro station to this small "playground".

That was basically it. Alex quickly got bored so we set off on a mission to find another playground at Beatrix park. It did not disappoint.

The park was beautiful and we found a playground with several other kids. Alex was a little shy and got scared when another kid yelled at him in Dutch. In all fairness, Alex did just walk up and take the little boy's shovel. Note to self: buy small shovels and pails for playing in the sandbox next time ;)

The weather was nice (highs in the 40's and sunny). Amsterdam rain is set to return at the end of the week.
